Joyful Education

In 2009 I wrote a small booklet, Joyful Education. Joyful Education seems to have resonated with teachers, educators, and parents. Many have asked me about its technique or method. But Joyful Education was more like one of those 3-D picture books, where the image only emerges when one has learned to “see” it by refocusing one’s gaze. Current education does not teach us how to look properly at what we need to see. I want this blog to continue the discussion with a wider audience.

About Me

My photo
JoyfulEd
I have been in education for nearly forty years. I am distressed by the lack of interest in learning exhibited by many students in current schooling. The best model of learning is small children. In 2009 I published a booklet, Joyful Education, after watching my grandkids for a few months. I have just finished a first draft of a book on that subject. In talking with people about it they suggested that I start a blog. So here it is.
